Liberty Wayfinding

The Liberty Way finding became my obsession. How could I navigate customers easily around the store and maintain the sense of exploration?
The store, designed in 1875 is a series of interlinked atriums and gallery's that can often become confusing. The ornate gateways between these rooms became the key to the project and bone and brass signs wrap around them to guide you through with ease. At entrances, staircases and lifts way finding totems help you navigate your way too all floors and eye level signs help to locate the lifts and stairs.

My greatest moment was installing the sample signage one morning to see how it looked. A gentleman stepped out of the lift, read it and walked into the newly designed jewellery room.... sweet success!!!!
