THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY
The latest iconic windows have been unveiled, welcoming the start of a new year of fun and floral frolics at Liberty, the ultimate emporium for all your fashionable needs.
Maxine Groucutt, our head of visual identity has taken the enigmatic and ethereal work of Sarah Moon as her inspiration for the new scheme, with soft cascading flowers, organic forms made of paper tissue in soft dusky tones and muted florals.
“Sarah Moon has a dreamy and soft focus ethereal approach,” says Maxine of her inspiration’s aesthetic. “When I look at her photographs of women I feel like I have stumbled into a private moment. Somehow that moment doesn’t feel awkward or uncomfortable, it’s more about witnessing something you should have seen.”
Styling is soft and feminine, with clothing courtesy of Stella McCartney - new to the Liberty womenswear collective - and exclusive brand Michael Van Der Ham. There is a sexy undertone with layering from new lingerie label Bordelle, demonstrating the art of underwear as outerwear. Fashion favourites Acne, Preen and Dries Van Noten are included to compliment these delicious new arrivals. Let us know which one is your favourite.
