Cult of Beauty windows

Liberty the retail partner for the V&A Cult of Beauty exhibition.

Taking inspiration of the movements aspirational love of blue and white china, the iconography of the sunflower and the Punch style caricatures which during the period mocked the romantics. Backdrops were formed from caricatures of famous friends of Liberty to celebrate rather than to mock them. Kate Moss, Meg Mathews, Tom Dixon, Jefferson Hack, Beth Ditto, Katie Grand, Tiny Tempah and me. The only mockery in these windows was the small sign in the sunflower window which stood in thousands of sunflower seeds. This pitied those who closed the Ai Weiwei installation at the Tate Modern. The blue and white China tiles created by Rebecca Berhman, Liberty's in house graphic designer reflected a timeline of the 20th century placed in front of these an Arts and Crafts chair a modern day classic and New and Exclusive burgeoning lighting designer.
